Don’t Understand? You’re About to Learn Something was published March 9, 2015, and it’s about the mindset of being comfortable with learning, or more accurately, with not understanding. It’s a lesson I’m trying to teach my daughters who are elementary school. Like many beginners they are zoomed in on syntax and details and just trying to get through, so it’s hard to get them in a place where they can think about how the approach and react to learning. Maybe it’s too soon, but what if it’s not? Like most lessons I wish I had learned this one much earlier in life.
