Password Reset Questions and Friends With Three Letter Names

Recently I had to answer a series of questions so that if needed I could reset my password by answering three of them correctly. Reasonably well done and a decent variety of questions. One section had a question along the lines of “the first name of your best friend from childhood”. Decent question, not many would know that, so I typed it in and tabbed forward, only to get the error message that answers had to be four characters. I had to laugh at that, there are a lot of three letter first names in the world. Now what do you do? Use his real name instead of the shortened version? Would I remember that months later? Append a space? Would I remember that? Turns out it checks for trailing spaces so that wouldn’t work anyway. I finally added a character that I may or not remember. Ah, developers. There are two letter names too!
